Many of our packaging customers have used our CPP films to create laminated structures to achieve targeted product specifications. Our laminating films will be designed to your structure meet barrier requirements for MVTR or O2, sustainability demands, temperature stability and cold temperature tolerance.
Profol can corona treat our films to allow for superior quality graphics to help your product gain attention. You can also reverse flexo-print and laminate to prevent ink dispersion to the product or scratching off. Our ProMold films have been used as a stand-alone film in an injection mold label (IML) as well as used as part of a laminated structure to provide a sealing barrier for better bonding.
Profol’s Furniture Film can be printed on one side to create a wood or other faux finish and produced in custom colors for a solid color finish. The backside of the film is designed for excellent primer or adhesive anchorage. It is easily primed with a wide variety of glues for adhesion to pressed wood or other surfaces. These films can be embossed for a highly scratch resistant finish. American Profol can recommend cold or hot glue appropriate for laminating cast polypropylene film to furniture substrates.
